Lime stone

Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed primarily of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) and is one of the most abundant minerals in the Earth’s crust. The main mineral in limestone is calcite, which is the crystalline form of calcium carbonate and has a trigonal crystal structure. Another type of calcium carbonate called aragonite with a different crystal structure (orthorhombic system) is also found in limestone.
